OPPAK is Pakistan’s first and only dedicated web resource for orthotics and prosthetics. It was developed by
Irtaza Kazmi in 2006, in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake, to connect patients and organizations with essential O&P services across the country. What began as a small online forum officially grew into OPPAK.com in 2007.
The platform’s founding mission has always been to serve the profession and its practitioners — promoting quality clinical services, providing accurate and accessible information, sharing job announcements, and broadcasting updates relevant to the orthotics and prosthetics community in Pakistan. OPPAK was formally registered with the Government of Pakistan in 2020.
In response to the ever-growing needs of Orthotists and Prosthetists across the country, the OPPAK Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists was established as the natural evolution of OPPAK’s online mission — bringing structured, inclusive learning to the profession.
